This simple brunch sandwich is better than anything you'll find in the drive-thru!
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 cup clarified butter, warm
4 steam buns
4 strips of bacon
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
Green onions, to garnish
Make honey butter by mixing honey with warm butter. Brush onto buns.
Set up a steamer by filling a wide sauce pot with 2 cups of water and placing bamboo steamer on top. Set stove top to medium-high to create a slow rolling simmer. Add buns to steamer.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook bacon until crispy.
In a nonstick pan, add 1 teaspoon oil. Add eggs and cook until scrambled. Remove from heat and add cheese.
Stuff eggs and bacon into steam buns and finish with more honey butter.
Garnish with green onions before serving.
