A quick and easy recipe to make delicious and scrumptious Aloo Puri.
3 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and grated
½ cup refined flour (maida)
½ cup whole wheat flour
Salt to taste
½ tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
1 tbsp oil + to deep fry
Subzi for serving
1. In a parat, add the potatoes, salt, carom seeds (ajwain), whole wheat flour, and refined flour. Mix well. Add 1 tbsp oil; knead to semi soft dough. Keep aside for 5 minutes.
2. Divide the dough into equal portions, shape into a ball. Apply a little oil on the surface and place the dough ball. Roll it into a circle, keep aside.
3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, gently add the prepared puris and fry till golden brown and crisp. Transfer on an absorbent paper.
4. Serve hot along with favourite subzi.
