Healthy oats made with chocolate in a unique preparation.
OVERNIGHT CHOCOLATE OATS
1½ cups steel cut oats
2½ tbsps chia seeds
2 tbsps coco powder
2 cups milk
2 tbsps honey
6-7 seedless dates, chopped
Fresh mixed berries for garnish
Mixed chopped nuts for garnish
1½ tbsps yogurt to serve
1. In a blender jar, add banana, milk, coco powder, honey and blend till smooth.
2. Grate apple in a bowl, squeeze the orange juice in it, and add oats, chia seeds, dates and the prepared chocolate-banana milk.
3. Mix well, cover with a cling wrap and refrigerate for 7-8 hours.
4. Discard the cling wrap and mix well. Transfer to a serving bowl and place mixed fresh berries, sprinkle chopped nuts and top it with yogurt. Serve immediately.
