Hyderabadi Veg Dum Biryani Recipe and Ingredient List.
2 Kg Rice.
1.5 Kg Onions.
2 Kg Carrots.
2 Kg Potatoes.
1 Kg Curd.
100 Gm Hot Chillies.
1 tbsp Garlic Paste.
1 tbsp Ginger Paste.
1 tbsp Cumin Seeds.
Shahi Biryani Masala.
Red Chilli Powder.
How to Cook Biryani.
Soak Rice in water.
Fry Onions till becomes dark brown and crispy.
Fry carrots and potatoes one by one.
Heat 1 tbsp oil. Put Cumins.
Saute it for 20 seconds.
Then put Garlic Paste and cook for half a minute.
Now put green chillies and Ginger Paste.
Cook it for 20 seconds.
Add Turmeric, Red Chilli Powder, Biryani Masala and Mix it well. Now put all the fried veggies and curd. Give it a nice mix.
Boil the Rice.
Drain excess water from rice and put it on to the top of gravy.
Take a bowl, Put on to the centre of the Biryani Pot, Put some Charcoal inside it. On the top of charcoal add cumin seeds and Put Oil/Ghee on it to give Dum to our Biryani.
Cover Biryani Pot and put on low at for about 15 Minutes.
Put some fresh coriander leaves on top of it and serve hot.
