1 green raw banana boiled, peeled and mashed
1 medium potato, boiled, peeled and mashed
1 tsp finely chopped ginger
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin powder
Salt to taste
½ tsp chaat masala
1 tsp chopped green chilli
1 medium onion, chopped + for garnish
½ tsp red chilli (jalokia) powder
1½ tbsps breadcrumbs
1 tbsp oil
Tomato ketchup to serve
1. Add mashed green banana, potato, ginger, garam masala, cumin powder, salt, chaat masala, chilli, onion, red chilli powder and breadcrumbs in a bowl. Mix well. Shape into medium sized round tikkis and set aside. Prepare other tikkis following same procedure.
2. Heat refined oil in a non-stick pan, add the tikkis and shallow fry on medium heat till golden brown on both the sides. Remove and drain on an absorbent paper.
3. Transfer prepared cutlets in a serving platter.
4. Serve hot with tomato ketchup and garnish with onion rings.
