A quick and simple way to put a green twist to your regular puri.
1¼ cups fresh green pea puree
1½ cups whole wheat flour
Salt to taste
1 tbsp ginger-green chilli paste
1 tbsp oil + for drizzling + for deep frying
Sabzi to serve
1. In a bowl, add whole wheat flour, salt, ginger-green chilli paste, green pea puree and mix well and add 1 tbsp oil. Knead to stiff dough and set aside for 5 minutes.
2. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into balls. Drizzle a little oil on a worktop. Slightly flatten the dough balls and roll each into puri.
3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry the puris till puffed up. Drain on an absorbent paper.
4. Serve hot with Sabzi.
